About Me

My name is Efi, and I am the Founder of Cosmo Care.

I am an accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Clinical Supervisor, holding a Master of Counselling. I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and a member of the ACA College of Supervisors.

I have extensive experience working across private practice, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and the forensic sector, supporting individuals with complex presentations, including high-risk behaviours. My work is grounded in helping people move beyond unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, particularly in the context of anxiety, emotional regulation, and life transitions.

From 2020 to 2025, I served as Assistant Director of the Friendship Centre, where I supervised counsellors and supported the development of emerging practitioners. I also contributed as a Course Advisory Board member with Torrens University from 2023 to 2025.

My approach is practical, compassionate, and outcomes-focused. I support clients to build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change—moving from feeling stuck to living with greater clarity, confidence, and fulfilment.

Alongside my professional work, I have a background in business and the corporate sector, which informs my understanding of workplace stress and performance demands. Outside of my clinical role, I enjoy creative pursuits such as singing and dance as a form of personal expression and wellbeing.

At the core of my work is a commitment to helping people navigate challenges, strengthen resilience, and flourish in their everyday lives.
